Shipping and Returns
This Shipping and Returns policy refers specifically to the way that Gdad’s Collectables Ltd handles these two areas, and specifically outlines your options and confirms what you should do on the rare occasion that you are not happy with your purchase. You should note that due to the very nature of our business, ie. the sale of antique and vintage goods, no item will be deemed as “new”. Items are generally sold “as seen” or “as described”.
Shipping
We endeavour to send out any goods ordered within 1-3 working days of payment. “Working days” means all days other than Saturdays, Sundays and English statutory and public holidays. Currently, we ship to the UK, Republic of Ireland, Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, and the USA. If you are outside of these areas, you may still contact us to discuss potential shipping of items to another overseas country.
Within the UK, we use Royal Mail Tracked 48 to send our parcels. Please note that orders to the Highlands and Islands may take slightly longer to arrive. For international parcels, we use Royal Mail International Tracked, which varies depending on which Europe or World Zone applies. The shipping cost is calculated by weight and includes a small amount for packaging. Shipping costs are shown at the checkout. We usually include any tracking numbers on your confirmation email.
Returns
When you order from us online, you are entitled to a cooling off period after despatch, when you can return your unused and unopened goods without any penalty. Our cooling off period is 14 days, which includes any statutory cooling off period. This period starts the day the contract is agreed (ie. you receive an email from us saying we have despatched your order) and ends 12 days after the day following delivery of the goods. Certain items are excluded from the cooling off period guarantee, unless we are at fault.
If you wish to return an item for any reason, you should contact us before returning your unused or damaged product and any original packaging to our address below. We also recommend you take a photograph of the item(s) before return. We will ask you to use a secure method, as we cannot be held responsible if the item does not arrive. Either a replacement product or full refund (minus the postage and packing) will be arranged promptly.
Changes to Shipping and Returns
We reserve the right to modify and update this policy from time to time, without notice. We recommend you check this policy each time before placing an order.
